The Transition Lab is a comprehensive transition program designed to equip students with disabilities with the skills, confidence, and support needed to succeed beyond high school. Whether students are planning for college, a career, or independent living, this program provides the guidance and real-world tools to help them take their next steps with clarity and confidence.

The Transition Lab is a hands-on, real-world readiness program designed to support individuals with disabilities as they navigate life beyond high school. This program is open to participants ages 17 and older with an IEP or 504 Plan, including those currently in school, recently graduated, or individuals who may have stepped away from school and are still seeking direction.
We recognize that not every student follows a traditional path. The Transition Lab was created to support those who may feel uncertain, stuck, or unprepared for what comes nextโeven if itโs months or years after leaving high school. Whether a participant is exploring college, entering the workforce, or learning how to live more independently, this program meets them where they are and helps them move forward with purpose.
Through hands-on learning, individualized guidance, and real-life experiences, participants build essential skills in career readiness, life management, self-advocacy, and decision-making. The program focuses on helping each individual create a clear, realistic plan for their future while gaining the confidence to take action.
Enrich our growing community.
Take support to the next level.
Support special exhibitions.
Just like a lab, this program is a space for exploration, growth, and discovery. Students are encouraged to try new things, build skills through experience, and develop confidence in a supportive environment where learning is active and meaningful.
We partner with families every step of the way, providing resources, workshops, and guidance to help them support their childโs transition into adulthood with confidence.
